inspired_georgia_900w
Three ACP featured events remain; a spotlight on local talent on Wednesday, celebrating the new book "Inspired Georgia" featuring Georgia photographers and poets; an artist's lecture from Lalla Essaydi at the High Museum of Art on Thursday, and the new, two-day [UNTITLED] Art Book Fair at Atlanta Contemporary on Saturday & Sunday!

Wednesday, celebrate Georgia-based photographers (and poets!) with an artist's reception at Westside Cultural Arts Center.  The new book, "Inspired Georgia," is a dual-anthology of Georgia photography and poetry, and there'll be a poetry reading, plus a one-night exhibition of photos and #acpfest merriment!

Thursday, Morrocan-born photographer Lalla Essaydi will give an artist's talk at the Hill Auditorium at the High Museum of Art. Her work focuses on Arabic female identity, and she hand-paints Arabic calligraphy in henna on the fabric, bodies, and walls that inhabit her images.

Saturday & Sunday we'll be celebrating the art of the photobook with [UNTITLED] Art Book Fair at Atlanta Contemporary. Nazraeli Press, 21st Editions and TBW will be in attendance along with our favorite local photobook makers, artists and purveyors.  Plus, there will be a keynote artist's talk from Doug DuBois on Saturday!
