I run insig.ht with a few photography friends around the globe, and wrote about the backstory of Joel Sternfeld’s renegade elephant photograph. The picture is currently on-view at The High Museum, in their “Look Again” exhibition and the story was shared with me by Asst. Curator of Photography Danielle Avram.

We’re more than happy to let the wider community know about your photography event via the ACP Blog, especially if the venue was part of our 2007 festival (ACP9). If you’re an artist, were included in last year’s festival, and have a show this year, notify us the Monday of the week of your opening, and we’ll post it to the ACP Blog as well.

We’ll also post “Opportunities for Artists” if they’re local. The goal is to migrate the opportunities from here to the ACP Blog.

The posting all submissions is contingent upon review by ACP.
