This Week With ACP (10/17)

It's a huge week for ACP events, from Tuesday through Sunday; two provocative panel discussions, a Robert Frank documentary, another installation of The Georgia FENCE, and the last day of My Atlanta!

Tuesday brings a unique collaboration between ArtsATL and ACP to SCADshow; "It All Started with Thomas Askew", a panel discussion on the life & work of Atlanta's first African-American professional photographer, a furthering of Floyd Hall's insightful piece from last week.

Saturday, Stephen Shore, John Pilson and Bill Boling will discuss "Instagram as Atelier & Salon" at the Rich Theater, in a conversation facilitated by Whitney Richardson of the New York Times. Partners in this program include Art Papers Live and the High Museum of Art.

If you're heading south for the weekend, swing by Thomasville for a look at The Georgia FENCE, which makes its debut on Saturday.

Sunday, our Film Series will be presenting the Atlanta premiere of "Don't Blink - Robert Frank" at Midtown Arts Cinema, at noon.

(And don't forget to pick-up your photograph at My Atlanta Exhibition, on Friday or Saturday, 12-4pm!)
