“Publishing for Photographers from Blurb to the Bigtime” at SCAD, free & open to the public

Great to see SCAD creating this evening on photobook publishing on Feb. 27th!
This panel will offer information about a variety of publishing options for photographers. The advantages of everything from self-publishing to signing with mass market traditional publishers will be discussed. Participants will have their projects available for sale and will offer signings after the program. The panel includes Jonathan Zufi, the author of Iconic: A Photographic Tribute to Apple Innovation, Lisa Clark, designer of Iconic and former Director of Design at Princeton University Press, Laurie Shock, book designer and author of How to Publish Your Own Photography Book, and Bill Boling, owner of Fall Line Press. The moderator is Forest McMullin, SCAD Professor of Photography and editor of Iconic. The program is free and will be on Thursday, February 27, 2014 in the Photo Studios on the 5th Floor of Building C at SCAD Atlanta, 1600 Peachtree St. NW Atlanta, GA 30309. There is a social hour starting at 6:30PM and the program starts at 7:00PM. For more information contact Forest McMullin.
