The Photo Visiting Lecturer must be able to teach in the following areas: black and white film courses (beginning and advanced), alternative processes, digital photography, digital video, studio lighting, view camera, photo history, color photo (film), photo history.

ART & DESIGN
The Ernest G. Welch School is seeking Visiting Lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in Photography. MFA or equivalent experience, Ph.D. or other doctoral level degree or equivalent experience and record of artistic research required. College level teaching experience preferred. Send cover letter, CV, teaching philosophy, sample syllabi, 20 examples each of personal work and student work, names and contact information for 3 references, and SASE. Digital portfolios must be readable on a MAC and a PC. CDs should be clearly labeled and contain 3 folders: one with images of your artwork; one with images of students artwork and one with all text files in PDF file format. Images should be clearly labeled and be in JPEG file format. Hard copies of text files should be included. Email application will not be accepted. Review of applications begins May 2011.
