ACP Needs a Web Developer for a Special Project

ACP is currently looking for a web developer who's interested in helping out a local, art-based non-profit with our Web efforts. We're completing a Request for Proposals outlining the project's scope, and are interested in hearing about your interest and skills.

The project is our Festival Guide Listing Submission Tool. The tool will enable people to create their own listings for the ACP 11 Festival Guide. Our current site is being completely redone this year, and we need a submission tool to match those goals. We're currently on a Linux web server, so some combination of php (or not!) and AJAX (for real-time subtotals) would work well. Mysql and familiarity with passing information to/from Google Checkout is key. We have a pretty solid understanding of technical issues, and are excited to work with you on this project, but we're not programmers. That's where you come in!

If you know anyone who's young and capable, or wants to work on a web-dev project for their portfolio, please have them get in touch. We have a limited budget for the project, and are looking for a developer who's interested in photography and the arts.

Please pass the word around, and get in touch; info at acpinfo dot org. We'll publish the RFP as soon as it's complete, later this week. Thank you!
