Real Lush, Film Screening @ whitespace

ACP 10 participating venue whitespace has a film screening of their own this Thursday night at 8pm. Whitespace is at 814 Edgewood Ave. Robin Bernat's "Real Lush: Short Stories"
"Real Lush: short stories" (2008), like most of Bernat's projects, is a visual meditation of the fleeting and of the provisional. Composed of a series of seemingly unrelated vignettes, Real Lush portrays an unabashed devotion to classical ideas of beauty and temporality. Shot on Super 8 and edited digitally, luscious scenes of children, gardens, forests, snowfall, and fountains are both dream-like and tinged with melancholy. Voice-over narration by Robin Bernat. Original music by Neil Fried. Total running time: 22 minutes, 24 seconds.
