Women of Atlanta, Women of the Movement & Boyd Lewis, Friday, Feb. 29th

Mason Murer Projects Gallery has an opening this Friday, Feb. 29th, with “Women of Atlanta, Women of the Movement” including pictures from Boyd Lewis. The opening is from 7pm to 10pm, this Friday.

“The black and white documentary photographs include candid images of well known women leaders and inspirational figures of the Civil Rights Movement, politics and community action. The exhibit includes photos of Coretta Scott King, Alberta Williams King, Rosa Parks, Rosealynn Carter, Grace Towns Hamilton, Dorothy Cotton, Jean Young, Eliza Paschall, Geneva Haugabrooks, Johnnie Carr, Virginia Durr, Ethel Mae Matthews, Dorothy Bolden, Xernona Clayton, Georgeanna Sinkfield and others.”
