ACP 9 Film Series: Part 1

One of the most memorable experiences of ACP 9 was the first screening in this year’s film series. Andy Ditzler of frequentsmallmeals (& ACP’s resident film series curator) put together an incredible program that complimented the under-the-train-tracks location behind Davis Waldron Gallery.

Gordon Matta-Clark’s film “Splitting” seemed perfect for the location (where three train lines converge and split-off), as did Manfred Kirchheimer’s “Stations of the Elevated”, with a score by Charles Mingus. And local artist Blake Williams contributed a world premiere. What a great night!
